Sarah Hewitt

Hey there. My name is Sarah, and I'm your new improv coach (assuming you book me after reading my fabulous bio 💁🏼‍♀️) I've been acting for over 20 years. I graduated from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts where I took improv classes with Joe Perce and Judith Searcy from Second City. I'm in the advanced study program at UCB (I got in before the whole Academy thing came about) I have completed the improv program at UCB and The PIT. I was a part of Vertical City No. 1 for the inaugural season of the Armory House Teams at The Tank. Currently I am performing on the PIT house team Curmudgeon. I also have a duo called Shewitt with Charlie Shulman. We perform romcom monoscenes. I also perform Harry Potter long form improv with The Heirs of Hogwarts. My coaching style is upbeat and fun, and I can customize my methods based on what your team needs. I love doing characters, and I'm a strong advocate for being emotionally available in scenes. I like to focus on creating a solid and believable base reality with well rounded characters that have a strong relationship to each other.
