Richard J. Krysztoforski

I'm a New York City-based improv director and coach with over 15 years in the art form. As Director of Cat's Cradle Improv Ensemble, I led a year-long Off-Broadway residency in 2024. I've performed on house teams at Magnet Theater and Reckless Theatre, and have coached indie groups, house teams, and theater festivals across the country.

My coaching is direct, scene-focused, and built around growth. I give clear feedback, design exercises that address the problem, and never waste a rehearsal. My background in Learning & Development means I know how to design a rehearsal that makes growth stick.
