Mary McDonnell

Mary is an improv coach with over a decade of experience performing, teaching, and building teams with a focus on chemistry and play. Previously on UCB's Harold team FKA Deb, Mary can be seen playing with The Lake at Dawn and Very Good Boys around town if you want to check her out before committing.

As a coach, she creates a playful, supportive space where improvisers of all levels can feel comfortable committing fully, and practicing the fundamentals of good scene work (be prepared to play Pointies). Her coaching focuses on joyful exploration, encouraging teams to take risks, build trust, and discover what makes their group unique.
