Hey! My name is Aditya (he/him/his).

It’s easy to get caught up in trying to follow the “improv rules” but that doesn’t necessarily lead to good scenes. It’s also no fun and definitely not the reason any of us love improvising.

I believe improv is about finding joy and inspiration from the present moment and the performers around us. This happens when we relinquish control, let the scene unfold, and work together with our scene partners to discover new worlds and fresh perspectives.

Together in rehearsals, we’ll create an environment that assists your group to access their most playful, authentic, collaborative, and creative selves.

- I currently work as an Academic Advisor at an art school in NYC where I mentor and guide art students.

- I also work as an instructor at Pace University's Upward Bound Program where I work with diverse high school students based in Brooklyn from low-income backgrounds. Here I teach courses in improv, creative writing, storytelling, and career exploration.

- Producer and Performer for the “Fact or Fiction” show at The Magnet Theater since 2016.

- Guest monologist for The Armando Diaz Experience at The Magnet Theater since 2019.

- Guest performer for The Armando Diaz Experience at The Magnet Theater since 2023.

- I have performed all around the tristate area, including A Night of Rubbish Comedy at Rubbish Comedy Collective, Newark Improv Festival, and Barnard College.

- Hosted The Magnet Theater’s Diversity Improv Mixer from 2019-20.

- Produced and performed shows on several improv teams including FAM, Brown ABBA, Squirtle Squad, Park Slope Dads, CITYS, and more since 2015.
